What is TCHOUKBALL?
Tchoukball in 2 minutes
Tchoukball is a non-contact team sport that combines the dynamics of handball, the passing game of volleyball, and the precision of squash.
Key principles:
The Rebounder: There is a 1x1 meter rubberized frame at each end of the court. Both teams can attack either rebounder.
Scoring: A team scores a point if the ball is thrown at the rebounder and, upon bouncing back, touches the ground within the court (but outside the forbidden zone) before the defending team catches it.
The Forbidden Zone: There is a semi-circle with a 3-meter radius in front of each rebounder. Players are not allowed to step into this zone with the ball, and the rebounding ball cannot land inside it (otherwise, the opposing team gets the point).
The "Rule of 3":
A maximum of 3 passes are allowed before shooting at the rebounder.
A player can take a maximum of 3 steps while holding the ball.
A player can hold the ball for a maximum of 3 seconds.
No Interference: This sport is built on fair play. It is strictly forbidden to obstruct an opponent's movement, passing, or shooting. There are no interceptions or ball stealing; defenders must anticipate the trajectory of the rebounding ball and catch it to prevent a goal.
